Switch off

This Saturday night, join the wave of darkness sweeping around the globe, as hundreds of millions of people hit the lights for WWF’s Earth Hour. As well as supporting a common care for the earth and each other, it’s also a good chance to watch the lights go out on our favourite public monuments; catch a trad session by candlelight; reminisce about a time when we relied on family and the local community for entertainment; or just switch off, literally and metaphorically, for an hour of disconnected bliss.
