Winter Welcome
It’s officially winter, and it's rolled out the cloudy carpet. The characteristic fog of this time of year is essentially low-lying cloud, which affords the unique opportunity to walk on them. Fog hovers just above the ground before the sun chases it away, which makes morning walks in June spectacularly eerie.
Drop down to the Yarra behind the factories in Abbotsford and follow it along to the Convent and Children's Farm. And you'll truly be able to say you've been on Cloud 9.

If you have a morning flight this week, check that flights are on schedule. The airport was expecting delays due to fog.
Hello, cute blog (and I loved the book). I like gazing upon, and the idea of walking through, clouds. But you can't really walk on cloud nine because that's the name of the highest rating of clouds, over 40,000 feet I believe. So, even if the mist we walked through had the making of the cloud, it couldn't be called cloud nine. Or maybe it could rise to become cloud nine, which is perhaps what you meant. How marvellous. Best perhaps that we don't try and think through those things too much. Hmmm, note to self.
